I just had an amazing custom therapeutic massage with Karen. I highly recommend. I have been experiencing stress build up in my shoulders and especially my neck. She was instrumental in helping me work out some of the pain. Thanks Karen, and it's nice to see an expansion of new services Dr.D!

My primary reason for buying skin care products is to make my skin look great, free of adult acne (this is horrible)!! I also buy it for purposes of slowing down the aging process, and as protection from the sun. The product line I use is Biologique Recherche a French line, not widely distributed in the US. I can say this stuff smells awful - it is very medicinal. But I don't care if the product smells lovely, I care that it works...

I buy and use skin products to slow down the aging process. Antioxidants, sun protection, moisturizers and exfoliants are a staple. For me, Skin Ceuticals and Naturopathica are the product lines that I use. Skin Ceuticals for the face because it is based on scientific studies, and Naturopathica for the body because it is natural and hydrating.

Porcine collgen has been getting a lot of press lately. Unfortunately, it's not readily available in the US yet. It should be within the next couple of months. There have been some reports of lumping of the porcine collagen when used in the lip area. I has only been FDA approved for the nasolabial folds. There are alos reports of skin contractures when placed superficially. I'll certainly get the training from the company when it becomes available and make my decision at that time as to whether or not I will carry it.

Here at LaserCosMedix we do inject the vertical lip lines with Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is probably the most versatile product that we have available for filling facial imperfections.

I saw something on TV about pig collagen and how it is better than other fillers because it is very similar to human collagen and it doesn't forom lumps. Do you have it yet? Also, are you doint the vertical lines on the upper lip? I would like to have this done. Thanks.
